L'insegnamento delle lingue minoritarie presenta due diversi aspetti: in alcuni casi rispetto allo stato in cui vive è a sua volta maggioranza in altro stato in genere confinante:

  • altoatesini germanofoni Alto Adige (Italia),
  • alsaziani germanofoni in Alsazia, (Francia)
